MSX Advance 0.1
Today, the first version of MSX Advance, an MSX emulator for Gameboy Advance was released. The emulator is already capable of running several MSX1 games quite decently.

We have just received an e-mail from Shigatsu Usoda, stating that a new, very interesting collectors item was released in Akihabara, Tokyo today: a Konami MSX antiques 25-in-1 joystick.
And there they are, the results of the MRC Scene Music Remake challenge. All twelve entries were rated by Loek van Kooten who was active as, amongst others, the composer of the Dutch MSX group MSX-Engine in the 1990's. Without further ado, here's the ranking:

HackUrl has released another MSX-style arrangement of an existing song. This time he made a PSG/SCC remix of the ending theme of Konami's Crisis Force. You can download this and many other MSX-related songs from his website.
Supporting the retail release of the Schwarzschild 3&4 collection in Japanese stores, Kogado's simulation game Schwarzschild was released in the games section of i-revo, which is available to Japanese only.
Following this thread on our active MSX forum, MSX_Rus sent us 19 MSX-AUDIO/MSX-MUSIC tracks composed in Moonblaster stereo.
Today, a first preview of EdiOS was released. EdiOS is a new GUI (graphical user interface) for MSX2 and higher. EdiOS is developed mainly in C, assembly is only used when speed is essential, or when a functionality that C can't offer by itself is needed.

The Japanese chiptune composer Hackurl has released an MSX2 remake, using the PSG and MSX-MUSIC, of the BGM to stage one of Valis V. You can listen to this and many other chiptune remakes on Hackurl's website

Telenet Japan are to release a new game in the Valis series, of which the first two editions (Valis 1 - The Fantasm Soldier and Valis 2 - The Fantasm Soldier) were released on MSX as
