YS4 - Boss tune by Hackurl

Hackurl created an MP3 recording of what the YS4 boss tune would have sounded like, had it been released on MSX. In true Falcom MSX style, he only uses the PSG soundchip for this one.

From May 3rd to May 17th, Sander Zuidema of Bazix visited Japan in order to attend the MSX World 2005 ~ I love MSX event in Akihabara, Tokyo.

People who visited the Spanish MSX portal Hispamsx.org this morning were in for a surprise, as the site had been attacked and taken offline by hackers. Unfortunately, this isn't the first time these kind of attacks happen on MSX related websites.

Just now, ASCII have opened up a website where the upcoming One Chip MSX can be pre-ordered. For 19.800 yen (about €145 / $185) this fully MSX1, partly MSX2 compatible device can be obtained.

Maggoo's MSX pages - updates

Maggoo's MSX Pages have recently been updated, adding the following:

  • A Total Parody demo and another scroll demo, both created by Arturo Ragozini
  • A new version of the MSX Sprites Converter, which now comes as a standalone .exe file
