At the home page of Zac Game Station you find a few games that are inspired by great classics such as Gradius. You can download IFRIT, a Gradius look alike. Also on this page is the game Acter World, a game with a strong resemblance of Bubble Bobble.

A few days ago, MSX Gamesbox announced the winners of the 2003 artwork contest. If you want to know which artwork won (and which 5 got close to winning), have a look here.
Sunrise played a key role in the MSX Community in the early and late 90's. Apart from releasing hardware and software from various groups they also published three disk magazines: Sunrise Magazine, Sunrise Picturedisk and Sunrise Special.

Yes, you read it right the first time. Bandwagon demo's and a real MSX computer were visually backing the experimental music of Kokeellisen Elektroniikan Seura from November 27th to December 7th at an exposition in the 'Kunsthalle' in Helsinki, Finland.
Vic Viper.com is a website totally devoted to the Gradius game series. Nicely designed site, with a lot of background info and screen shots about all Gradius versions.
Irem has put some great looking wallpapers of R-Type Final on their official R-Type Final homepage. Wallpapers are downloadable at 800*600 and 1024*768 pixels.
Match Maniac freeware
Maggoo and Sunrise surprise the MSX Community with a pleasant christmas gift: the Abbyss game Match Maniac has been declared freeware. On Maggoo's website you can download the game and its manual.
