MSX Gamesbox have put up the voting sheet for this year's annual artwork contest. You can select your five favorite artworks out of 26 different artworks. All of them have the theme: MSX - 20 years of gaming, submissions come from all over the world. Now it's up to you to decide which is the best of them all.

MSX-gg at dutch Game Expo 2003

The MSX-gg usergroup that's part of the HCC, the largest computer club in the Netherlands, will attend the Game Expo 2003 this year again with their own booth. This year the booth will be twice as large compared to last year. There will be a lot of activities accoording to the MSX-gg.

Poisonic has developed a small demo for GFX9000 in which you can see several pictures scrolling in 4 mirrored 'screen splits'. This effect is combined with music created in Moonblaster Wave for Moonsound. The demo was coded in G-Basic which comes with the Sunrise GFX9000 video cartridges.

Bonami, a private game museum in Epe, the Netherlands, holds a playing day on november 8th. It´s possible to play with more than 60 different game consoles and home computers like MSX, Nintendo, Atari, Amiga, Sega and many more including handhelds. It´s also possible to buy some doubles (games) from this collection. Location: Sporthal Prins Willem Alexander, Sportlaan 1, Epe.

Falcom Special Box 2004

On December 19th Falcom will release a very special collectors item: the Falcom Special Box 2004. This is the first time in seven years that Falcom releases such a special box set. This box bundles the two largest Falcom RPGs: YS and Xanadu.

Although many members of our team come from the Netherlands we have already got our hands quite full with maintaining the website as it is.

Choro-Q TV Game

While the new ChoroQ Playstation 2 game is being finished, Lik Sang started selling the ChoroQ TV Game. This stand-alone TV game comes with two controllers and a base unit that holds the game. AV Cables are included. The game looks very nice.

LHA-PMA for Win32

MSX Banzai! was updated today with a Win32 port of the LHA-PMA program, allowing Windows users to decompress PMA archives without using a clumsy CP/M emulator.

Additionally, an update was made to the GFX9000 Programmers Manual, clarifying the format for 16 and 8 bit RGB values.
