2002 has been a very succesful year for MSX in general and especially for our web site. After many rumours and promises, the MSX Revival finally started.

Today, a new version of Padial's Flash ROM Loader for the LPE-Flash G data storage device has been released. Several improvements have been made.Thanks to Hans Otten, the latest version of this loader is being hosted on the MSX Info pages.

Dochinpira, also known as MsxKun is programming a new MSX game called MSX Hot numbers. MSX Hot numbers is a simple puzzle game. It's the first MSX2 game developed by Dochinpira.Today, a second demo of the game was released. The game is almost finished.

MPX stands for MultiPlay-X. It's a music replayer for MSX2 computers and higher, and it enables you to play (MML-based) music files. Supported formats are OPX, BGM, MPK, MGS and BGR. The player comes with a neat interface for file-browsing.

MSXPlug, the WinAMP plugin that allows you to play MSX music data files (KSS, MGS, MPK, OPX, BGM) on your PC was updated today. The update can be downloaded from PC Sound Antiques Only one change this time, but an interesting one: A DC offset filter was added.

With all the MSX Revival news we had in the past, it was an interesting poll to see what you really think of all the developments. The results are astonishing. A whopping 53% of the 470 voters in this poll do believe the MSX revival will eventually bring us a new MSX computer.
