So, I bought a working (it was sold as having a broken floppy drive, but pictures of it booting the menu were provided) AX-370 from a reputable seller from Egypt, but when it came and I tested it, this happened
The memory amount is correct, but it just can't reach the menu, I even tried letting it warm up for an hour or so, but no difference.
I also tried to hold CTRL to skip the menu as the WIki says, but no luck and the reason why I was pressing the caps lock key in the video is to show that it didn't work (I partially opened up the machine, and now the light works, but no way to skip the menu with CTRL, so I don't know, maybe the ribbon need to be inserted better, and me lifting it partially got it just a bit inside).
Since it was shipped from Egypt by UPS (which also broke the second cartridge slot, it no longer holds up, hopefully it can be saved with hot glue or scotch since I kept all the pieces I could find and it's a rare machine so I don't want damage), so maybe one or more bump dislodged a chip or put some dust/metal piece in the chip's legs and it prevents the ROM switching or something.
I, unfortunately, don't have cartridges to check if I'm able to boot through them since I figured someone would ask if I had tried, I was planning on getting a flashcard after receiving this PC.
I don't have a long enough screwdriver to open it entirely either, but I could open the keyboard area, and the motherboard CAKED in dust and dust bunnies, the keyboard looks bent somewhat, and all connectors outside are pretty rusty (at least I got video and seemingly audio from composite so it might just be aesthetics).
I have a local repair guy that might try his hands at it and hopefully fix it, but I'd like to hear opinions from y'all so I can give him a hint on a likely problem rather than have him go blindfolded, and feel free to recommend repairman in the EU if y'all think the problem might need diagnostics done by an expert.
Thanks in advance for helping me out
