How to change the FS-A1ST Disk-ROM ?

Hello the hack enthusiasts,

I'm looking to replace the Disk-ROM of my FS-A1ST by that from the FS-A1GT because this one seems a little bugged. Someone can help me ?
I know the ROMs are bundled into one big ROM. So I just need to know if a compatible ROM can be found and how to write in it.

This bug seems to occur only on the FS-A1ST. On OpenMSX, I replaced the FS-A1ST Disk-ROM with the FS-A1GT one. It solves the problem. So the problem comes from the FS-A1ST Disk-ROM.

I wonder if it was already fixed in later revisions of A1ST. I am quite sure my Game Master 2 starts fine on my A1ST. What revision do you have?

Please try it because il doesn't work also on emulators. Also check that the battery is not empty.

Just tested both my GM2 carts (working battery) on my C and D revision FS-A1ST and both machines start the GM2 fine.

You didn't say how to know to revision.
What is the SHA1 of your GM2 ROM?

The revision is in the serial number of the machine. So for instance 0LNMB09305 the last character indicates revision (in this case B).

It is very likely this issue was detected during release of A revision in the Japanese market and fixed in B revision (and later ones obviously).

The serial number is almost erased but it starts with "1BNMD". So I have a D revision like you. Mars2000 modifed the wiki a bit too quickly.
Can you also copy your Disk-ROM?
