You're talking about a Toshiba HX10? If so, the PSU is onboard and the cable is soldered to it.

Do you have a picture of where it is connected?
It's a Daewoo, I thought it was called HX10, but you're correct that's a Toshiba. The cord that comes out has been severed near the computer. Do I just need a new cord or an external PSU to power it?
Can you show us some photos of the machine, it’s type label on the bottom and the cord? You can upload them to MSX.pics to share them.
Most MSX’s come with internal PSU and a severed lead can be replaced easily. But to ensure we give you the correct advice (and prevent any damage) those photos will help a lot. They will also indicate which voltage your Daewoo expects (although most likely around 220V).
@Manuel, yes it's a DPC-200, I looked at the pics online and that's the one.
If the cord is cut, do I just replace it?
Is it worse made because it was made in Korea?
