The whole point of this machine is that you get it how it is. It's not added for convenience, but to see how this system is working. Then you need its original behaviour too.
blueMSX users will have both machines : the original version and the modified version. So, it's not an argument. But, again, it's hopeless discussion

Well, and what about a compromise? Leave the patch commented inside the xml, so anyone who needs it can just uncomment the respective lines?
