That drive A; was the ROMdisk of the MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD, I guess It's a ROM disk!

I just gave this tool a spin. Lovely piece of software!

I am running into one issue, though - I can't get anything to work with Game Master on my A1ST.

All the roms I've tried load fine without Game Master, and I've set the directories correctly in the .ini. However, when I launch a rom with GM2 or GM1 selected, it either hangs after "CD GM2" or it loads GM1 but the penguin looks sad and the "game" option doesn't work. I've tried a number of Konami ROMs.

Any ideas?

Yeah, both executables are in the path. I'm using original copies of GM1 and GM2 from the TOSEC archive.

For GM2, that might be because you don't have enough RAM (you need more than 128KB RAM for this).
There was a problem with GM1 in some configurations, I sent you a PM !

This is on a Turbo R ST with 256kB and a MFR SCC+ SD.

It's also generally reproducible in openMSX with the same configuration, although in openMSX Sofarun doesn't seem to detect the emulated MFR SCC+ SD.

i'm using it on msx 1 philips VG8020 with MegaFlashROM SCC+ SD dos version 2.11 , when i lunch it and press space msx resets! why?

Hi all, I am having the same problem as mfeingol and bigjaac.
Running Metal Gear 1 with Game Master 2 selected causes the menu to freeze at "cd GM2"

INI:
ROMPATH=B:\KONAMI
SAVEPATH=B:\SAVES

PATH:
PATH A:\;A:\BIN;B:\

SD card is set as B: drive
MGEAR1.ROM is in B:\M
SOFARUN.COM is in B:\

I am using a Megaflashrom SCC+ SD, boot holding ESC to access the menu, then quit the menu and run sofarun from DOS.

Would appreciate any advice!

Could you try to go to the B: drive before launching SofaRun ?
