I would reather go for an MSX2 with minimum 128KB ram, 720KB floppy drive and an FM-PAC cartridge for sound.
Sounds expensive to me for an MSX1 with few games...

Hi Fryster...I´m going to sell my Toshiba HX-MU900 MSX AUDIO unit, It has the upgrade kit made by Playsonic, so it´s and FM-PAC too, BIOS v1.3, 256 kb sram. It´s in perfect shape. If interested and want some photos, send me an email.

Correct but seeing you were willing to pay 150eur for a simple MSX1 go directly for an MSX2+ (FM-PAC already included in main board except Panasonic A1-FX), nice design and they have expanded RAM in most cases. Yes a bit more expensive compared with a normal MSX2 plus FM-PAC but is possible to find MSX2+ below 200 eur. I think it worth.
Check for example this thread, although this MSX2+ is already sold the user daniel683104 sells MSX2 and 2+ very often in very good shape (I bought mine to him).
He sells MSX regularly, contact with him and check the stock. On the other hand if you buy a 100% Japanese MSX, take into account if you need an external power supply.
